Popis:	Many authors have tested for a size dependance of reproductive effort (RE) by correlating some measure of RE with total plant weight or vegetative plant weight. This can cause statistical problems, however, because the measures of plant weight are included in both the dependent and independent variables of the regression. We studied the power of various tests for detecting proportionality by means of numerical simulations.
