Popis:	We present the rare case of a false aneurysm of the genus lat which occurred after knee arthroscopy. Apart from a pulse-synchronic swelling in close proximity to the former anterolateral portal there were no complaints and no pain. The diagnostic and therapeutic strategies - in this case performed with coiling of the involved vessel - are presented and discussed.
