Popis: Carbon chloroform extract and related blank materials obtained by the Organics‐Carbon Adsorbable modification of the Carbon Adsorption Method have been found to contain a significant amount of elemental sulfur ranging from 17 to 58%. Carbon preparation affected the blank value determined; chloroform elution of prewetted carbon yielded higher values than extraction of “as received”; carbon.
