2.4/5 GHz WLAN 4x4 MIMO Dual Band Antenna Box Design for Smart White Good Applications

Popis: In this study, a 4x4 MIMO antenna box design consisting of antenna designs by using planar metal (Aluminum) plate and substrate (FR-4) used traditionally is presented to be used in smart home white good applications. The antenna designs that make up the antenna box operate as dual-band in 2.4 and 5 GHz WLAN and the operating bands and resonance frequencies are verified by both simulation and measurement results. In the resonance frequencies at 2.4 and 5 GHz WLAN operating bands 80, 110, and 700, 600 MHz operating bandwidth and at these bands minimum 15, 20 and 30, 20 dB isolation values between antennas have been achieved in simulation, respectively. Also, important MIMO antenna parameters have been examined in the simulation environment; In the 2.4 and 5 GHz operating bands, the envelope correlation coefficient maximum 0.18, 0.2 and 0.01, 0.02, diversity gain as minimum 9.1, 8.95 and 9.9, 9.85 have been obtained between the same type antennas, respectively.
