Popis: The reactions of ferrocenium salts with secondary phosphines Ph2PH, Cy2PH, and Et2PH proceed as replacement of the cyclopentadienyl ring to afford half-sandwich complexes [C5H5Fe(R2PH)3](X) (X = PF6, BF4) rather than ferrocenylphosphonium salts [C5H5FeC5H4— (PHR2)](X).
