Popis: | An investigation was made of the spectrum of the radiation emitted by a ClF3+D2 chemical laser. The time characteristics of the vibration-rotational transitions in the DF* and DCl* molecules were used in an analysis of the main elementary processes occuring in the laser. The laser emission from DCl* occurred 20 μsec after the initiation and this indicated that it was due to not only the F+D2→DF*+D stage but also to secondary elementary stages of a chain process. |
