Popis: | In the present work, the authors studied the effects of various methods of surface hardening and relevant structural states of 45 medium-carbon structural steel on its efficiency under the indicated conditions. The authors studied the following types of surface hardening: rolling, frictional hardening, annealing by high-frequency currents, frictional hardening followed by rolling, and high frequency annealing followed by rolling. Based on the data obtained, it was concluded that the most efficient method for increasing the endurance of the steel under investigation is frictional hardening subjected beforehand to annealing followed by medium tempering. |
