Popis: ALTHOUGH the problems raised by conditional sales and chattel mortgages in the field of the conflict of laws are of little concern yet in this country, it is submitted that should Britain form closer alliances with the Continent, we may be faced with a legal morass similar to that in which Canada, the United States, and to a very much smaller extent Australia, have been floundering for the past hundred years or more.' The general problem with which we are faced can only readily arise in federal States, and may be put, in its briefest terms, thus: A sells a chattel to B in State X under either a conditional sale
