Popis: | JCTCV:21(1) Objectives: An aging population requires surgeons to perform aortic valve surgery for stenosis on patients with a history of cardiac intervention more often. It is therefore interesting to analyze the impact of TAVI on this high surgical risk population. Methods: Between July 2009 and February 2016, 88 patients with a history of cardiac surgery were treated by TAVI at our center. We retrospectively studied the short- and mid-term results of this technique applied on this population and compared them to the latest results published. Results: Our population had an average Euroscore I of 29.62% (±18.00). Survival at 30 days was 93.19%. At one year, we observed a survey of 89%. Permanent pace-maker implantation was required in 11.36%. Average Intensive Care Unit stay was 4.52 (±4.04) days. Paravalvular leakage was observed in 43 patients (48.85%). Conclusion: On the condition of good patient selection by the Heart-team, TAVI is a safe alternative for repeat patients and results in few complications. |
