Popis: The pulse pair resolution of a Channeltron electron multiplier has been examined for two cases; the quiescent case and the case where it is operated at an average count rate of 1.1 megapulses/sec. In both cases, the pulse pair resolution has been found to be comparable to the pulse width, which is about 2 × 10−8 sec at the base.
