Under the guidance of relevant theories of computer graphics, in order to solve the complex internal structure of ternary phase diagram, this paper realized the reconstruction of ternary phase diagram through a small quantity of data and proposed a novel method to calculate and draw the equivalent section of model-based 3D graphics. Knowledge relating to Bezier surface is used in this paper to realize the liquidus surface reconstruction of ternary phase diagram, and winged-edge data structure, intersection of bicubic Bezier surface and plane are adopted to design proper data structure and algorithm. Transferring the intersection of ternary phase diagram with the section to the intersection of surface with the section as well as to the intersection of plane with the section, which will sort and connect the intersections and further define the corresponding intersecting line. Such method can realize the visualization of the internal structure of ternary phase diagram well. The intersection algorithm of the solid phase, liquid phase of ternary phase diagram with section is founded through examples, in which the sectional drawing is obtained in a quickly and intuitive manner. The algorithm has considerable speed and stability, and it is suitable for the creation of sectional drawing of ternary phase diagram. |
