Popis: | The influence of the porosity of wet wound composites based on glass and aramid fibers on epoxide resin viscosity in an impregnating bath has been studied. The maximum porosity of the composites after winding has been found to be 5–14%. An increase in impregnation efficiency after thermal polymerization results in a 1.5–2.0% decrease of the initial composite porosity. The viscosity dependencies of the wound composite porosity have been shown to be nonlinear and convenient for further mathematical treatment. These data can be used in the design of bath heaters in winding machines. |
