Popis: | A strong influence of shape and size on spontaneous luminescence of Eu atoms has been observed in a new class of Y 2 O 3 –Eu 3 + nanoparticles including nanospheres, nanopowder and nanoplates. We demonstrate a possibility of engineering recombination time τ in nano-objects by changing the local optical environment. |
