Popis:	Isothiazolone and isoselenazolone based colorimetric probes have been reported for the detection of thiols. The isothiazolone probe detected two equiv. of thiols. A regenerable probe is developed from isoselenazolone. Both probes possess high selectivity for aromatic thiols, cysteine and glutathione.
