Particle behaviour modelling in a diffuser type apparatus

Popis: The paper considers issues related to the movement of particles in an up stream of fluid in diffuser-type apparatuses. Equations of particle motion in an up stream are proposed. Solutions are obtained using a mathematical model in the Maple Computer Mathematics (CMS) system. The results of the studies show that controlling the regime of particle motion in an upstream allows to choosing the conditions for creation the best option for using this technique in wastewater treatment technology.
