Popis: Cotton is attacked by numerous insects throughout its growth. These range from millipedes and cutworms, through aphids, thrips, jassids, mirids and whitefly, to bollworms and boll weevils. Acceptable control can be achieved by judicious use of insecticides coupled with good agronomic practices, but insect problems can change, and sometimes escalate, when insecticides are introduced. Early sowing and protection of the young seedlings are particularly important.
