Popis: The values of the measured photocurrent gave the same quantum intensity of the beam of exciting light, for which we used data on the distribution of energy in the spectrum of the lamp and the transmission of the monochromator, obtained by means of a "quantum counter" [3]. As counter we used a 0.3% solution of Rhodamine C in ethylene glycol, placed in a quartz cell. Table 1 gives the relative quantum intensities of the light beams of the spectrum of mercury at an SVD-120A lamp current strength of 1.2 A. The relative quantum intensities of the light beams were also measured at a lamp current strength of 1.0-1.1 A. The data obtained agree with those given in Table 1 to within ~: 5%. It can be seen from Table 1 that the brightest lines in the Hg spectrum are the 365-366 nm lines, the intensities of which make up approximately half of the total intensity of the spectrum in the range 235400 am; the Intensity Of the 312-313 nm Hg line is smaller by a factor of two, and that of the 302 nm line is smaller by a factor of ~4. The intensity of the Hg spectrum in the range below 290 nm is low, and amounts to 0.115 of the total, and that in the range 235-250 nm amounts to only about 0.02 of the total.
