We will conduct an ecological momentary assessment (EMA) study among smokers willing to quit smoking within one month to explore contextual factors that are associated with temptations (i.e., urges to smoke) and lapses in the first 14 days of a quit attempt. The study aims to answer the following research question: Which contextual factors (e.g., activities, social setting, location) are associated with urges to smoke and smoking lapses in Dutch daily smokers in the first 14 days of a quit attempt? |
