Joint Transceiver Design for Decoupled Full-Duplex Wireless Powered Communication Networks with Lens Antenna Arrays

Popis: In this paper, we consider the joint design of power allocation, beam selection and precoding matrices for decoupled full-duplex (FD) wireless powered communication networks (WPCN) with lens antenna arrays. Firstly, we formulate the optimization problem to maximize the minimum rate of all users. The formulated problem contains complicated discrete binary constraints, as well as the highly coupled nonconvex objective function. Then we introduce auxiliary variables and transform the original problem into a more tractable form. Finally, we propose an efficient algorithm to solve the transformed problem based on the penalty dual decomposition (PDD) method. Simulation results demonstrate that our proposed algorithm approaches the optimal performance of the full-duplex fully digital transceiver scheme, and outperforms the competing scheme.11This work was supported by the National Science Foundation of China (NSFC) under Grant 91538103 and the Fundamental Research Funds for the Central Universities 2018FZA5006.
