A spectrum allocation algorithm for satellite applications based on the characteristics of satellite elastic optical network and various conditions is proposed in this paper. Compared with the random fit (RF) and first fit (FF) spectrum allocation algorithms, the routing and spectrum allocation algorithm (RSA) based on link spectrum resource assessment set can allocate spectrum more accurately for services, reduce the generation of spectrum fragments, and improve the spectrum utilization of satellite elastic optical network. |
