Popis:	Learning environments offer high potential to improve learning processes. Starting with an analysis of the effectiveness and efficiency of learning processes when using different methods and instruments to teach and learn, the paper identifies demands for highly effective learning environments. They have to integrate several subsystems to adapt to different situations and of course must be available on the Internet. The second part of the paper describes the architecture of a learning environment which is adjusted to these demands.
