Popis: THIS account is based upon experience gained during the Battle of Britain and in 1941, and is offered to members of the AIEE in an effort to help them, should they become responsible for restoring electricity supplies after air raids. It is realized that conditions in America and in Great Britain are not identical, but it is believed that they are so similar that American engineers will be well able to adapt British experience to their own problems. In any case, wherever high-explosive bombs fall, they always have the same effects. The subject matter has been divided into broad headings, which are thought to be the natural sub-divisions in the supply of electric energy to the consumer.
