Popis: | The unmanned air vehicle (UAV) industry is prophesized to play a profoundly vital role in global technological advancement. The emerging global market for drone-powered solutions is valued at 127 billion dollars, and a projected increase in the number of UAVs between 2017 and 2022 is from 1.1 to 2.4 million. This increased UAV usage will cause an ecstatic burden on the airspace resulting in collisions and interference, possibly damaging property and endangering human lives. Hence, the need for a regulatory system which can route UAV operations is inevitable. This paper discusses the need for an autonomous UAV Traffic Management System (UTMS) in the Indian context and presents a requirement analysis of the proposed system. Subsequently, this paper presents a broad preliminary analysis, followed by a broad generic architecture of the overall system. This proposed architecture is expected to play a crucial in defining the physical architecture and developing the much needed UTMS for the public domain in India and the world. |
