This concluding chapter explores the boundless possibilities for gay theatre. It notes how Big Broadway can now star drag queens. The Prom (2018) featured a good and solid lesbian musical. The chapter then raises the debate on whether Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike (2012) is a gay play in any real sense. It details how John Kander worked on several pieces such as The Nance (2013) and Kid Victory (2015). The chapter also recognizes the works and influence of Edward Albee, who is considered as the Great American Gay Playwright.
