A digital electro-hydraulic control system was applied to machine tools and other industrial machines. The desired characteristics have been obtained, and the digital electro-hydraulic control system has been put to practical use.Firstly, the paper discusses requirements of manufacturers of industrial machines who have used hydraulics as the back ground of developing an electrohydraulic control system. Then, it briefly outlines the digital control system mentioned above and gives an application example. Some control algorithms are also discussed for current and future developments. |
