Popis:	A prospective study conducted over a period of 2 years at a tertiary care hospital on all patients who underwent total laryngectomy to study the complications of the surgeries, their possible etiology. Laryngectomy is one of the most frequently done oncological surgeries in this part of the world, with high incidence of morbidity. Through improved techniques and preand postoperative protocols the incidence of complications have reduced, none the less they occur.
