Popis: This paper is concerned with the influence of water absorption on the time-temperature dependent flexural strength of CFRP laminates. The CFRP laminates were prepared under three conditions of “Dry”, “Wet” and “Wet + Dry”. The “Dry” laminates by holding the cured laminates in the oven at 150°C×2hours, the “Wet” laminates by soaking the “Dry” laminates in hot water at 95°C×48hours, and the “Wet + Dry“ laminates by dehydrating the “Wet” laminates in the oven at 150°C×2hours were respectively prepared. The three-point bending tests for these three kinds of CFRP laminates were carried out under various constant strain rates (CSR) and temperatures. The time-temperature dependence of flexural CSR strength of these CFRP laminates were obtained and the influence of water absorption on these strength were discussed. As results, it was cleared that the remarkable influence of water absorption on these strength exists and that this influence is separated into two parts by reversible and irreversible damages.
