Popis: | Studies were conducted on the copolymerization of acrylamide (AM) with acrylonitrile (AN) by utilizing ammonium persulfate-N,N,-N′,N′ -tetramethyl ethylenediamine (APS-TMEDA) system as initiator in aqueous solution. The copolymerization rate equation was established as The reactivity ratios were determined by both of the Fineman-Ross and Kelen-Tudos methods, and the values of r 1 (AM) and r 2 (AN) were determined to be r 1 = 0.738 and r 2 = 0.050. The apparent activation energy (E a of the copolymerization was calculated to be 25.03 kJ/mol. |
