Popis: |
In the visual experience of most humans color is commonplace and one naturally finds color photographs more realistic than black and white. However, this is generally not true in the field of metallography where the images one normally encounters are black and white or shades of gray. Therefore, the occurrence of color in a microstructure may tend to cause the metallographer to accept it on the basis of aesthetic appeal rather than reality. |
