Popis:	This work is an application of recent results on quantification of covered areas from mono or multi‐spectral measurements. We show that the results lead us to consider this problem in the frame work of fuzzy sets for which we give the membership functions. The theoretical results are validated for the cases of burnt and vegetated surfaces.
