Popis: | Distorted erythrocytes in the urine or dysmorphic erythrocyturia and erythrocyte casts with no clot formation are characteristic features of renal parenchymal hematuria, often seen in glomerulonephritis and infrequently in interstitial nephritis. In addition to these features, the presence of proteinuria that exceeds the amounts estimated from local bleeding, such as in pelvic or ureteral stone, bladder tumor, is also an evidence of glomerular hematuria. Glomerular hematuria is almost universally observed in both primary and secondary glomerulonephritides. |
