Popis: This article presents a content analysis of vocabulary activities in selected lower-secondary coursebooks used in the Czech Republic. The aim was to verify the categorical system, which will be used in further research, and to determine if vocabulary is given more attention in current teaching materials than in those published 20 years ago.
