Popis: Besides being an important mineral resource for all living things, salt is used in many industries such as; medicine, chemistry, medicine, leather, agriculture. There are three types of mining methods used in the salt production: evaporation, underground mining and solution mining. The use of solution mining and salt production technology have increased in recent years in accordance with technological development. The solution mining method, which is highly safe, technological and environmentally friendly method in the mining industry, is used for production operations of salt, soda etc., very economically that their solvent is generally water. The production of salt from halite dome, which is formed hundreds of meters below by filling an inland sea pit, which is generally disconnected from a certain direction by geological and epirogenic movements, is provided by sending fresh water with the help of pumps from the pipeline, and by dissolving the salt by obtaining salt water solution. In this study, information about solution mining applied to salt mine is given and there are explanations, figures and sources about how to gain salt from underground salt domes by solution mining method.
