Popis: | An experiment for testing a chat-based feedback system, which has the aim of helping train children's helpline counsellors. The goal is to find a feedback system which is useful and feasible for training children's helpline volunteers. The main benefit the feedback system offers, is immediate feedback, both corrective and positive. The feedback is meant to help the participants better adhere to a 5-phase model, which is a conversational model developed by the Dutch children's helpline, De Kindertelefoon. A within experiment, there will be 15-40 people participating. The people are going to be split up in one of two (nearly) equal groups (depends on whether they are an even or odd number of people). Group A will interact with the virtual agent model with the feedback system added to it. Group B will be the comparison group, who will interact with the virtual agent while having a static explanation of the 5-phase model (which will contain an overview and a checklist) next to them. |
