Popis:	Acute or chronic cardiomyopathy complicates frequently Chagas'disease but in human African Trypanosomiasis (HAT) it's rare and often unknown. The authors report a case of hypertrophic cardiomyopathy observed in a man, 26 years old, which could be specific of HAT because of its echographic aspects and its improvement after specific treatment with Elforhithine, a new trypanocid agent.
