Popis: The quantum interference (QI) effect remains an exotic one up to now. It is manifested in oscillations of kinetic properties, which are periodic in the inverse magnetic field. But these oscillations are not connected with electrons moving along closed orbits. In a particular case QI may be displayed as magnetoresistance oscillations like Shubnikov-de Haas ones. A simple model of QI between electrons moving along open orbits which are connected by two magnetic breakdown (MB) junctions was studied in [1]. The more common case of QI in the coherent MB network was studied in [2] and predicted the appearance of different linear combinations of fundamental frequencies caused by QI. It was noted that QI is not accompanied by thermodynamic oscillations and, as a consequence, QI oscillations are absent in the de Haas-van Alphen (dHvA) effect.
