Necrofagia realizada por girinos de anfibios anuros sao eventos fortuitos e incipientes. Neste trabalho foi registrado pela primeira vez girinos das especies Boana albomarginata, Boana crepitans e Dendropsophus minutus, se alimentando de cadaveres de Physalaemus cuvieri e Rhinella crucifer em uma area de Mata Atlântica no Nordeste do Brasil. Podemos considerar que apesar do registro ser ocasional em ambientes efemeros, esse comportamento pode ocorrer com mais frequencia na natureza. In this work, tadpoles of the species Boana albomarginata , Boana crepitans , and Dendropsophus minutus were recorded for the first time, feeding on the corpses of Physalaemus cuvieri and Rhinella crucifer in an area of Atlantic forest in northeastern Brazil. We can consider that although the record is occasional in a ephemeral environment, this behavior can occur more frequently in nature. |
