Popis: | A nonwaste technology for the production of urea-formaldehyde resin is described, and the effect of its treatment in a constant electric field in the manufacture of plywood on the hygroscopic and adhesion properties of plywood materials is investigated. It is shown that the processing of plywood in a constant electric field has practically no effect on the maximum values of water retention, water absorption, and moisture absorption of plywood materials, but the polarization of urea-formaldehyde resin reduces the swelling speed of plywood materials in water. It is found that the polarization of the plywood allows preserving the integrity of the samples in conditions of high humidity, which indicates an increased level of adhesion of the resin to the veneer. |
