Doubling bifurcations of destroyed 2 tori

Popis:	Two Duffing oscillators driven with incommensurate frequencies and coupled additively are investigated. With this system we observe a host of complex behavior which compete with each other in parameter space, in particular the period doubling of an attracting T 2 torus and the destruction of a T 2 torus. As the parameters are varied along a curve in parameter space, we observe period doubling bifurcations of a destroyed T 2 torus. This phenomenon is studied in greater detail via a simple recursive map.
