Popis:	Coherent structures of turbulent flows are of special interest because of the way they influence flow mixing. Their possibly large length and time scales induce transport of significant amounts of fluid from a location to an other along noticeable distances. Quantities which undergo such a turbulent mixing are momentum, temperature, but also concentrations of species when multi-component fluid is considered. Chemical reactions can act as local sources producing or consuming species concentrations, they can also contribute to the energy balance through heat release.
