Popis: Mrs. S., aged 58, a widow, seen, May 19, 1925, was short and very broad and weighed 280 pounds (127 Kg.). Her mother died of heart trouble and was also short and very stout. One brother, who was a little over 5 feet (152 cm.) tall, had a tremendous breadth of shoulders and weighed 230 pounds (104 Kg.). He had severe chronic nephritis with hypertension and died three years later. The father, who did not have this type of body build, died of an unknown cause. The patient had been short of breath for several years, seldom walked, and had not been down town in five years. Her feet had been swollen for a considerable time; cough and sputum were present.
