This project investigates individual-level factors that facilitate transactive memory emergence in teams. We aim to discover the attributes of "transparent team members" -- team members who can be judged accurately with regard to their skills, knowledge and expertise. Our central hypothesis is that the average adjustment level of team members will positively predict the transactive memory of the team. Adjustment was measured as a composite of self-esteem, satisfaction with life, relationship positivity, and depression (reversed). |
