This paper presents fuzzy controller based IUPQC (Interline unified power-quality conditioner). It can compensate both voltage/current imperfections simultaneously in adjacent feeders. In this system, a new topology of IUPQC based on fuzzy control is proposed with four converters (two shunt and two series VSCs) sharing a common dc-link capacitor. Therefore, power transfer is possible from one feeder to adjacent feeders. Fuzzy controller is used to have stable dc-link capacitor voltage in addition to the PI controller. This enhances the dynamic response of the IUPQC. The Performance of the System is analyzed under various conditions by simulation results using MATALB/SIMULINK. |
