Many utilities already have some Distribution Automation applications (e.g., remote controlling of feeder switches and breakers, automatic reconfiguration, fault detection, fault location, voltage and reactive power control, Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI), etc.) and the trend is undeniable and expanding. |
