Popis: | This is the first post-test in a longitudinal design. In the pre-test phase six months ago, we collected the psychological profiles of participants, including reflection and fluid intelligence scores. In this first post-test, we will test whether higher reflection scores in the Cognitive Performance Test (CPT) and fluid intelligence predict higher cooperation in a one-shot Prisoner’s Dilemma Game (PDG) in line with the Self-control Account (SCA). We will also test whether reflection and fluid intelligence scores predict lower group bias. PDG will be played in a two-stage procedure; Participants in Stage 1 will play the game against anonymous participants, and in Stage 2 they will play against believers, non-believers, or anonymous (control) partners. Cooperation preferences, reaction times in PDG, and the other psychological measures from the pre-test survey, such as self-reported thinking styles and belief in zero-sum games, will be explored. |
