Popis:	N-heteroaromatic-2-vinyl-aziridines have been synthesized and thermally isomerized to the corresponding isothiazolo-, pyrido- and thienoazepine derivatives. The ease of rearrangement is strongly dependent on the nature (π-deficient or -rich) of the aromatic heterocycle.
