Popis: | Allergic asthma is one of the important clinical manifestation of atopy, which has both environmental and genetic components. Atopy is characterized by abnormal IgE responses to common allergens which results in high total or specific serum IgE levels, and positive skin tests to common aeroallergens. The regulation of IgE production is controlled by many factors including cytokines, cognate and noncognate interactions between B and T lymphocytes, and the low affinity IgE receptor, CD23. |
