Popis:	It is disconcerting how one can remain in ignorance of important papers relevant to one's own research for most of one's career. Mr Clyde Dunlop recently drew my attention to a paper by C. B. Robinson (1912) dealing with Roxburgh's 'Hortus Bengalensis' (1814). As a result I found that corrections are needed to three species I have dealt with for the Flora of Tropical East Africa; in two cases a change of name is unfortunately necessary. It must be stated that information about this paper is actually recorded in the front of the Kew copy of Hortus Bengalensis.
