Popis: | Measuring the mechanical properties of molecule junctions and, in parallel, recording their electric response provides further insight for molecular electronics. On the other hand, the Conductive Probe (CP-AFM) experiments with electrochemically controlled molecular switches are still challenging topics due to technical difficulties with the insulation of the cantilever. In this work, we developed a gold-coated insulated conductive AFM probe to connect molecules and to measure their properties, which include both the mechanical force and the charge transport between the tip and a conducting substrate. |
