Popis: | This paper presents an interactive street sign that aims to engage urban dwellers in the discussion surrounding the implications of smart cities. Based on either citizen input or an algorithm that rates the walkability and security of a location based on geo-tagged pictures, this signpost can indicate the direction with the highest walkability. By means of collecting citizen opinions and using this algorithm, this street sign represents an attempt to make politics that are involved when designing an application visible at public places and thereby make passers-by reflect on smart city applications. |
